Under the exceptional circumstances of spring 2020, Spanish universities have been forced to redesign their assessment models in order to mantain the restrictions imposed by the pandemic while testing their students achievements during the school year. This has also affected UNED and their Syntax exam for English Studies. Which used to be a very practical exam, very much like the online pre-exam exercise (PEC) where students were expected to draw about 10 syntax trees in a maximum of 2 hours in one the university's centres will now be a one-hour long online multiple choice test where the trees have been previously drawn and students only have to decide which option answers each of the 10 questions. Due to this completely new testing system for this subject, we have decided to offer this crash course which has been specifically designed for this new kind of exam.
